Senior Service Alliance (SSA)
The Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce Senior Services Alliance (SSA) is a group of member businesses allied by a common focus: serving senior adults and their families. Collectively, the SSA covers a broad range of senior services. The mission of the SSA is to provide a Chamber-associated body that delivers the best balance between business development and community support for the area’s senior adults and their families.
The goals of the Senior Services Alliance include the following:
• Public Awareness and Education
• Community Outreach and Support
• Business Networking and Development
• Co-Marketing Opportunities
Membership:
A member of the Senior Services Alliance must be a member in good standing of the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce and offer a product or service for the senor population. Members are strongly encouraged to attend the monthly meetings to increase their knowledge base of other senior-related businesses and continue the growth of their own business relationships within our community.
The SSA meets on the third Wednesday of the month, 8:30 a.m., Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce, Large Conference Room. There is no fee to attend the meeting. If you are not a member of the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce, please feel free to attend up to two meetings as a guest. After that, you will be asked to join the Chamber to continue attending these meetings.
SSA and its members also offer support for community organizations and initiatives. Churches and other community organizations are encouraged to consider SSA as a resource for subject matter experts to fulfill speaking engagement needs.
