Saturday Night Fever the Musical
The Greater Lewisville Community Theatre begins its 2016-2017 season with Saturday Night Fever, the Musical opening September 9 and running through October 2 with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Directed by Chris Robinson with Musical Direction by Kevin Sutton and Choreography by Eddie Floresca, this musical adaptation of the classic film is the story of Tony Manero, a talented, streetwise kid from Brooklyn who attempts to escape his dead-end life through dancing. Put on your boogie shoes and join us as we revisit the decadent, disco days of the '70s! Saturday Night Fever, featuring songs by THE BEE GEES, is based on the Paramount/RSO Film and the story by Nik Cohn, and adapted for the stage by Robert Stigwood in collaboration with Bill Oaks. The North American version was written by Sean Cercone & David Abbinanti. GLCT is located at 160 W. Main St. in Old Town Lewisville. The entrance and parking are in the rear off of Elm Street. Tickets for Saturday Night Fever are $25 for adults and $22 for 65 & over or 18 & under. Call for reservations (recommended) at (972) 221-SHOW (7469). Season Tickets are on sale now as well.
